How do I get to Cigale?

This year, Cigale celebrates its fifth edition with a vibrant, diverse, and community-focused lineup. To easily get to Baie de Beauport, take the RTC shuttle service.

From Friday night to Sunday, the RTC will take you to see your favourite artists from three convenient locations across the city: Place D’Youville (downtown), 41e Rue/Henri-Bourrassa (Charlesbourg), and Parc-O-Bus d’Estimauville (Beauport).

Frequently asked questions

How does getting on the shuttles work?
Boarding the shuttles is the same whether you’re leaving from a park-and-ride lot or from designated boarding zones on the Cigale site. You must:
- Have a valid RTC ticket or $4.00 in change
- Identify the boarding zone corresponding to your destination
- Go to the end of the line*
- Wait for instructions from RTC agents before boarding the bus through the front door
*Lines are identified by banners, fences, or cones. Always line up in order of arrival. If you’re not sure where the line begins, ask the RTC agents.
How often do shuttles depart?

Shuttles leave from their departure point and from Baie de Beauport roughly every 15 to 20 minutes during scheduled service hours. See the Shuttle service section.
Is shuttle transportation free for children?

Yes! Thanks to Family Privilege, the bus is free for children 6 to 12 riding with an adult. Maximum three children per adult with a valid ticket. Children 5 and under always ride for free.
