3 Tips for a Smooth Back-to-School Season
- Get your student status, OPUS card with photo, or transit pass online or at a service center whenever possible.
- If you need to go to an information center, book an appointment online in advance to avoid waiting in line.
- Before heading out, complete the questionnaire and make sure you have all the required documents with you.

If you need to visit an RTC information center, avoid waiting in line and save time by booking an appointment online before you go.
Make sure you have all the required documents for your situation before booking an appointment to avoid an unnecessary trip. Most student transit passes require documents that become available starting the week of August 11. If needed, use the questionnaire above to check which documents are required for each situation.
- Each appointment slot is 10 minutes long and reserved with a member of the customer service team for all types of services offered.
- If you have all the required documents on hand, a 10-minute slot is enough to issue passes for to 3 students. If you expect a more complex situation or need passes for more than 3 students, we suggest booking two consecutive time slots.
